Can we bring our own alcohol?
Absolutely! The Lookout Woodbury is a BYO beverage venue, giving you the flexibility to choose your own wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages for your celebration.
Is The Lookout Woodbury pet friendly?
Yes! We love our furry friends and understand they're an important part of the family. Well-behaved pets are welcome to be part of your ceremony and wedding photos. We simply ask that a nominated person is responsible for your pet throughout the day.
What happens if it rains?
We've got you covered—literally! Should the weather not cooperate, your ceremony can be relocated to our beautiful 12 x 10 metre luxury clear marquee, ensuring you and your guests remain comfortable while still enjoying a stunning celebration.
Is there disabled access?
Certainly. We have accessible parking available in the upper car park adjacent to the bar, providing easy access to the venue. Our commercial amenities also include accessible bathroom facilities and a parent's room.
Can we use our own suppliers?
Of course! Our Together. and Forever. experiences are designed to give you the freedom to choose the suppliers who best suit your style and vision. If you'd like recommendations, we're always happy to share our favourite local professionals.
Is there accommodation nearby for our guests?
Yes. Yeppoon is just 10 minutes away and offers a wide range of accommodation, including hotels, motels, apartments and holiday parks. There are also several Airbnb properties located close to The Lookout Woodbury for guests wanting to stay nearby.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! We love celebrating with families. We simply ask that parents or guardians supervise their children at all times to help ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.
What time does the celebration finish?
Our venue closes at 11:00 pm, with last drinks called shortly beforehand to allow guests to depart safely and comfortably.
Can we have fireworks or sparklers?
For the safety of our guests and surrounding property, traditional fireworks and handheld sparklers are not permitted. However, cold sparkler effects are welcome and create a spectacular, photo-worthy moment for your celebration.
Can we use candles?
To help protect our venue and ensure the safety of all guests, real flame candles are not permitted anywhere on the property. We kindly ask that all candles used for your wedding are LED candles.
The good news is that high-quality LED candles create a beautiful romantic atmosphere and look stunning in both photographs and evening celebrations.
